Harvest in the past
The machines for the agriculture came at 1950. One of the hardest work for the people was the harvest of corn. The corn was cut by the hand without exception. After that it was bound to "Mandeln" (bundle). After it was brought to the barns the treshing starts. The last part of the work was to sift the chaff from the corn.
The first part of the mechanisation was the using of treshing maschines. These maschines were standing on the "Anger (Kotsee)". At the first time they were driven by a steam-engine, later with tractors. The next step was the useing of a harvester and binding machine.

More information you can find in the chronicle (only german).
